As we near the end of June we still have 3 amazing celebrations:
- Jun 27: the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
- Jun 28: Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
- Jun 29: the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles
The month of July is dedicated to the Most Precious Blood. How beneficial to meditate on His Most Precious Blood, so often referenced in scripture - Romans 5:9 states, “we are justified by His blood”, and Hebrews 13:12 states, “and so Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people by His blood, suffered outside the gate.” 1 John 1:7 also writes of the Precious Blood: “…and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.”

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING SOME OF OUR MINISTRIES and GROUPS, the following in particular have needs:
- A/V volunteers at all weekend Masses, and to help with the screen presentations
- Altar Servers at the 9AM Mass
- Ushers at the 12 Noon Mass
- EMs to visit the Homebound and Nursing Homes
- ... and we have many more opportunities to get involved. Look over our volunteer sign-up form.

- Jul 6 - Jul 11: Catholic Heart Service Work Camp: serving needy members of the Cumberland, MD community.
- Men's Group - All men 18+ welcome
- Jun 28, Jul 12 & 26: 8-10AM in SFH.
- Rosary Altar Society - All women 18+ welcome
- Prayer Shawl Ministry - All welcome, will even teach how to knit/crochet
- Thousand Hail Marys - All welcome
- Jul 5: following the 8:30AM Mass in the Chapel.

- OCIA Adapted for Young Persons
- For those in 3rd grade up to age 16 wishing to complete their Sacraments of Initiation preparation, registration opened June 15, 2025. Please contact ociachildren@marymotherofgod.org for more information.

- Jul 12 - Jul 19: The Appalachian Mission Work Camp - donations may be made here.🙏🙏🙏🙏Please keep our volunteers and those they are serving in prayer during our week there.
